"How Can Memories from the Past Inspire a Fresh Start for Today?"

Most of my days start by reading a few devotionals, letting the words I read jump-start my direction. Of course, this is after a good night’s rest and my prayer requests behind me. I then proceed to my social media accounts to send special birthday greetings to all on my friends' list, hoping to put a smile on their faces. The reactions have all been very positive, and many send a thank you in return, to which I reply, “You are very welcome, see you next year, God willing!”

Many times, things have a way of altering my daily plans. Today was one of those days! I have to admit it did get me thinking back in time. I was 16 years of age, and if I remember correctly, I had been ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign. Back then, I was allowed to appear before a judge and a jury of my teen peers. I cannot recall every detail clearly, but I will always remember when the judge asked me if I had ever considered becoming a lawyer. Thanks for this advertisement that was delivered to me today from the University of Arizona. To which I kindly replied...

I received your ad for Higher Education! Have you listened to the lyrics of some of my Snappin' Grannies songs & videos? Check 'em out Crime of the Century, and Guilty by Marty Byrd...they're out there on Youtube and other social media, including my Linkedin post. Please continue to pursue other qualified candidates...we need honest lawyers educated to get the job done right!
